Corporate Philosophy·Founding Spirit

Our Corporate Philosophy represents
the raison d'être of the Shinko Electric Group.

Corporate Philosophy

Technological Prowess
Since our founding, we have held "Technological Development" as a top management priority. Driven by the development and accumulation of new scientific technologies, we will take bold leaps toward future challenges.
Manufacturing Technology
By combining wisdom and creativity at the manufacturing site—the source of corporate profit—we aim for world-class Monozukuri (the art of manufacturing with soul and excellence).
Growth Potential
In the rapidly evolving electronics field, we pursue infinite development while maintaining a passion for creation and dreams for the future.
Internationalism
As a member of the international business community, we meet globally diversified needs and promote business development centered on coexistence and mutual prosperity with global society.
Heartfelt Warmth
Society and corporations are human collectives that cannot exist without valuing human presence. We advance our business with a management stance rooted in humanity and warmth.

The Shinko Electric Group has developed its business to become a trusted global partner by developing and manufacturing superior products based on the strength of our manufacturing sites, aiming for world-best Monozukuri. Electronics and semiconductor technologies that support human life continue to evolve daily, constantly requiring us to meet new market demands.

By practicing our corporate philosophy, we strive for harmony with all stakeholders—including customers, business partners, shareholders, local communities, and employees—while supporting enriched lives for people worldwide and contributing to sound social development through our manufacturing excellence.

Founder's Spirit

Our founder, Takekio Mitsunobu (1914–1992), pursued the business for nearly half a century with the vision of making Shinko Electric a "comprehensive manufacturer of semiconductor packages." What Mr. Mitsunobu consistently valued since the founding was staying close to the actual manufacturing site, practicing superior Monozukuri, nurturing talent, thorough frugality, pursuing dreams, and contributing to the local community. Based on this spirit practiced by our founder and predecessors, each employee unites their strength to build a site of excellence and aim for "continuous development."

Frugality and Saving

This spirit represents our principle of investing boldly in what is necessary while thoroughly utilizing available resources to the very end. We will build a broad and flexible perspective, not following fleeting trends, but focusing our wisdom on the active utilization of limited resources.

Former Shinko Electric Office

<Mr. Mitsunobu's Executive Office>
This wooden two-story building (approx. 66㎡) was built in 1957 during the construction of the first factory (Building A) at the Kurita Plant. Originally a silk mill and later used as a welfare facility by Fujitsu Suzaka Plant, Mr. Mitsunobu had the building dismantled and relocated. Even after becoming President and Chairman, he continued to use the second-floor office, saying, "This is enough." While he never hesitated to invest in business, he was thoroughly frugal regarding office renovations that did not reflect in delivery, quality, or cost.

Genba-ism (On-site Focus)

Whether in manufacturing, sales, technology, or administration, the answers to all problems are found at the "Genba" (actual site). Recognizing that the root of our business activities is always on-site, each of us takes ownership to innovate the "Genba"—the source of our profit—through continuous improvement.

Mitsunobu's Analects

“Go to the site. If you go to the site, you will always find the problem. Once you identify the problem, do not leave until you understand its cause.”

A Dream in One Hand, an Abacus in the Other

Just as it is important to have dreams in life, it is crucial to hold high aspirations and "romance" in work. At the same time, it is essential to have a "cool-headed abacus" for precise calculation. A dream without a realistic foundation remains only a dream.

Mitsunobu's Analects

“To nurture young people, romance and dreams are absolute necessities. I believe a manager must have dreams. Dreams lead to foresight. Discussing seemingly dream-like possibilities of what our technology can achieve with young people gives birth to strategy and tactics. We must not work aimlessly; we need to hold onto a dream.”

Heartfelt Warmth

We strive for the harmony of people, things, the community, and the environment by enhancing our employees' sense of fulfillment in work and life while valuing mutual consideration. We will continue to protect and nurture "warmth toward people, things, and the Earth," never forgetting a heart of gratitude.

Community Contribution through the Hokushin Scholarship Foundation

In 1990, two years before his passing, Mr. Mitsunobu established the Hokushin Scholarship Foundation using his retirement benefits and 300,000 shares of Shinko Electric stock, based on his belief that "people are assets for the future of society and companies, and education will become increasingly important." This foundation provides annual scholarships to students in science, engineering, and medicine.
